The essence of the procedure is to call Chevrolet's Customer Service number (800-222-1020) and wind your way through the options until you get to "Chevy Restorations." In my case, around 12 weeks after I initiated the case, I received beautifully detailed specifications for a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. Since my cousin happens to be a Camaro owner, the document was of interest to him. Strangely enough, the correct Corvair documentation arrived a few weeks later before I even had a chance to call about the mistake. As frustrating as the process can be, the materials that you get contain numerous details that will help you get your restoration right. |
