Welcome to the Ideal Garage

What is the Ideal Garage?  The Ideal Garage (examples shown below) is any garage in which one or more Chevrolet Corvairs are parked.  This definition was developed by my wife on the day I brought our Corsa coupe home.  She said:

“Well, I guess this would be a dream come true for you.  A garage full of Corvairs.”

Truer words have never been spoken.

What’s New at The Garage?

Pretty much everything is new.

As in the last version, this website is intended for people blessed with the genetic defect that causes unbridled passion for Corvairs.

The updated version of the Ideal Garage adds a new look, many more pages and pictures, and invites interested Corvair owners to submit pictures of their Corvairs in their own Ideal Garages.

Calling All Corvair Owners

A quick glance at the menu choices on the upper left should clue you in to the coolest new addition to this website.  We have set up a new area to let Corvair owners send in pictures of their Corvairs tucked into their own Ideal Garages.

We started out with four garages and have steadily added more.  With any degree of luck, we’ll be able to keep adding new entries from proud Corvair owners everywhere.
